Help the Hayes community show our support for and appreciation of our crossing guard, Kevin Smith, for his dedication to keeping our children safe as they come and go to school each day. Please consider contributing to a "Thank You" gift card for Kevin. Venmo your contribution to the Heath PTO (@Heath-PTO) and add "Crossing Guard Appreciation" in the comment. We suggest a donation of $1-$5, or whatever you feel is appropriate. The deadline to contribute is by the end of the day on Sunday 3/17.

Crossing guards play an important role supporting our families’ safety as they access schools and neighborhoods across the Commonwealth. The SRTS Annual Crossing Guard Appreciation campaign begins with a crossing guard of the year nomination process, followed by Crossing Guard Appreciation Day on Wednesday, March 20, and culminates with announcing the Crossing Guard(s) of the Year award winners in April/May. The overall goal is to draw attention to and honor the hard work of crossing guards across Massachusetts and to recognize those crossing guards who go beyond.
