With summer coming, it's time to make a plan to support your rising 9th grader's preparation for high school. As a former teacher and professor, I'm passionate about my work as a writing coach; I love helping students develop skills that will make a difference for the rest of their lives. As a published fiction writer and an award-winning writer/editor for Harvard University, MIT, and Scholastic, my success with students stems from my extensive knowledge of the craft of writing. Working one-on-one, each of my students receives individualized instruction that leads to deeper critical thinking, clearer writing, and more effective planning and organizational skills. With nurturing attention, my students learn to produce thoughtful and timely assignments, even as they're juggling complex schedules and multiple deadlines.
