Student Workshops

The Hayes Science Fair Committee will host 3 workshops to help young scientists with direction, answers, and encouragement. Parent volunteers with multiple years' experience in running Science Fair will host each session, guided by the three broad topics outlined below. However, our volunteers will answer any questions and meet any scientist at any point in their process!

The workshops are informal and optional; no advance registration is required.

Workshop #1 (in person): Saturday, January 10, 2026 at 10am in person at Hayes – “Observe: Choosing a Project” and “Plan: Research and Design”

Workshop #2 (online only): Saturday, January 24th, 10:00-11:15 am - "Building experiments"
