Hayes kids (especially K-2) are invited to hear Brookline author (and Runkle mom) Jessie Davis Keppeler read at two local bookstores. Jessie’s new book, Tess Makes an S, is a story about a girl in speech therapy, facing off with a slippery, snake-like letter S on her quest to be better understood. All kids working toward a goal will be able to relate to little Tess.

Readings include an activity: kids make a custom home for their own baby snake (don’t worry, parents, the snake is fake!).
