Temple Ohabei Shalom invites you to our annual Purim Carnival on Sunday, March 8, from 3:30–5:00pm. Enjoy games, prizes, food, and more! Admission is free. Game tokens and snacks/beverages will be available for purchase at the door. Pre-register by 10:00am on Sunday, March 8 to help us plan, and receive four free game tokens which you can pick up at the registration table. We hope you will join us on Sunday, March 8th and bring all your friends!! Pre-register for game tokens!

Social media is fueling the popularity of these nicotine pouches as an easy, quick, and easily accessible buzz for relaxation or focus, and teens and young adults are jumping on the bandwagon at an alarming rate. About the size of a piece of Chiclet® gum, they come in a variety of flavors and release nicotine, which is highly addictive, into the bloodstream through the lining of the mouth. While tobacco use among youth is down, this trend toward nicotine pouches available without limits at convenience stores and other outlets is concerning. B-PEN urges you to have a conversation about ZYN with your adolescent. Here’s an excellent fact sheet to get you started.

We’re excited to introduce our new after-school pilot program for 4th and 5th graders! Running Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3–6 PM (Feb. 3–June 4), this program offers academic enrichment, social connection, fun activities, and food in a safe, welcoming environment at the Brookline Teen Center.
Flexible pricing options are available, including 10-session passes or single-day passes, and financial assistance is offered.
