BIG End-of-Summer Programs for 3rd-8th Graders

A 4-day summer movie-making program for 3rd - rising 9th graders.

Movie Making: Shrek Week is a 4-day summer movie making workshop for kids who have completed 3rd grade through to rising 9th graders. Students will participate as both cast and crew for a select scene of the 1996 classic film, Shrek, as part of the Crowdsourced Boston project. Their work will premiere in our screening room on the last day of the workshop, as well be shown on the big screen at the Coolidge Corner Theater as part of the Crowdsourced Shrek screening in December!

This Summer Session of Movie Making occurs from 10am-4pm to August 17th-20th.
 
A 4-day summer documentary-making program for 3rd - rising 9th graders.

Nature Doc is a 4-day summer documentary workshop for kids who have completed 3rd grade through to rising 9th graders. Students will collaborate on a piece exploring nature and public parks in Brookline, all while learning filmmaking techniques.

This Summer Session of Movie Making occurs from 10am-4pm from August 24th-27th.

Open to all 3rd-rising 9th graders. BIG will provide snacks, however participants should bring their own lunch.
